Some time ago, Rochester Writers started meeting in the Rochester library. Over time, they gained in popularity and membership and outgrew the available meeting space in the library. Arrangements were made for them to meet in the Events Area of the Barnes and Nobel store (Rochester Road just north of Auburn Road). Currently, there are about 30 members total, with approximately 20 attending regularly.
Meetings are usually held the evening of the second Thursday of each month, from 7:30 to 9:30 or so. There are no residency restrictions. Their door is open for additional members.
